The ACI BusinessDiodeIR series lasers with FOILStar 300 tape-feed system represents an attractive alternative where direct laser marking is inefficiant or cost prohibitive. The use of laser marked foils are ideal in areas where issues of counterfeit protection and durability leave no room for compromise. The FOILStar 300 enables features of direct laser marking to be transferred onto foils, making fast, precise and high quality markings possible.

The FOILStar 300 system features award winning Magic Mark V3 open source laser control software, enabling easy integration for automatic marking of variable or static graphic design elements including texts, logos, Data Matrix or 1-D barcodes & serial numbers. An intelligent rights management system supports the establishment of different operator groups, thus allowing customisation of the system to the user's individual requirements.

The ACI FOILStar 300 system is able to transport both continuous material and pre-punched labels in label operation mode. For continuous paper, the laser can cut out any desired shape of label. Equipped with a cutter for the complete removal of family sheets, an automatic re-winder is also optionally available.
